the reason.

well... u know i talked to pn sharifah b4 the holidays.. and the reason she said we can't was:

1. last year, ade senior(petronas engine) mintak utk apply ind traing and sponsor xbg.. tp dia xde la crite bdak actuary/mara.. tp that is the reason die ckp xle.
2. another reason she gave me was.. our contract with mara is 3 years study abroad.. [but, with ind training, we actually should be able to support ourselves during the ind training and hold the sponsorship for 1 yr as we do get the normal pay for it.. so, the prob is i'm not sure if mara allowed this. That's y I asked some1 to ask mara on this issue.. so, i don't know if hana asked this question to mara or not] and 1 more thing. sape2 yg ade contract mara yg ktorg sign tu.. check the contract to see klu mmg 3 yrs ke.. sbb aq xingt langsung benda tu.. haha

well.. the best way to go is apply all your choices as 3 yrs. But, if u want a 4yrs.. only make it as 1 of your choices. this way at least u have 4 relevant choices - that would be smart. as long as you don't do something crazy like applying all of it to 4years.. it should be fine.

It would be great if someone contacted pn sharifah. or have a nice talk with mara. lol. I would suggest someone who have a charismatic parent to talk them into allowing us. ahahah :D

well here is the latest news...
i text pn. Ayuslina just now (she is the person who 'take care' of KMB's students) and i asked her about the university that we can apply and about the 4 years and she replied

"refer to puan sharifah"

and Alisya have met her before holiday (or before exam i think) and according to her, we are NOT ALLOWED to apply for 4 years.

so, here is the list of universities that we can apply (which offer 3 years degree)

1. University of Kent
   
2. City University
   
3. London School of Economics
4. university of Manchester
5. university of Southampton
6. The University of Warwick (I'm not sure about warwick.. it seems to be a 4years course? You might want to check yourself. If MMORSE is 4 years.. then, you can't take it)
   
7. Kingston University (Actuarial Mathematics and statistics)
8. Swansea University (Actuarial Studies), (Actuarial studies with accounting)
9. Heriot-Watt (kene masuk 2nd year terus r coz the actual is 4 years)
10. Keele University

u might want to ignore all of this:
anyway, if the U ade course yg xinclude ind training n mmg 3 yrs korg ambik yg tu better la. but klu U tu only have course sandwich or industrial training like Queens Belfast or University of East Anglia, then terpaksa la ambik course sandwich/ade industrial training tu. After all, industrial training is optional. It is not compulsary and students can choose if they want it or not. For us, MARA probably don't let us? I dunno. I think we still have room to ask MARA about stalling our sponsorship 1 year for the industrial training later in the future, so, I'll say that you don't have to worry about that much. That's something to worry in the future...

so.. I'll add 2 more U's that is possible..

2. malay - read saga, lorong midaq.. and uh, ada lagi satu ke?
3. malay - world lit! *exception for yg dah hanta tu la..
4. TOK - second/final draft? I also not sure.
5. English - Oral outline. sume jgn buat lupe lak. don't take it for granted. *saying for myself also lah - not just you guys.
6. EE.
7. IA business - to those yang tak siap/tak hanta lagi
8. physics lab. lol. Jan, ko ckp nk siapkan next year kan? haha. tolong buatkan bole x? wahahah.
9. Econs notes.
10. Business - case study tuu.. =_=; aq x dl pun lagi. haha.
11. physics notes. - ni sendiri2 la punye suka.
12. maths - buat latihan la. dah la result maths mcm hancurs aje. (ni utk aq la)

(go to: www.ucas.com and use course search) Hana, still waiting for your update on whether we can apply for 4yrs course or 3yrs course only... >_<; *if possible apply for 3yrs course ppl. unless if it is 4yrs because of industrial training, that one may be allowed.. waiting for MARA's opinion.. [sandwich(SW) courses means there is industrial training BTW]
